Forestal Leon
We are a forestry and lumber company, located in Coelemu, Region
of Ñuble.
We handle a renewable forestry management to add value and to
make a comprehensive and sustainable use of our forests, seeking to
maximize its value to obtain plywood, wood and energy.
Our goal is to supply high-guality products to our clients, with
industrial process which are constantly being improved, using the
best tecnology available in the world.
We work every day to offer the added value to our clients. while we contribute to the development of the environment and we seek quality of life for the people who are part of our company.
Sustainable Production
We are committed to make innovative and high quality timber products for a more sustainable world.
The goal of Forestal Leon is to be a sustainable and friendly forestal
industry with the environment, with processes made by the highest
quality standars and safety.
From the planting of small genetically improved pines, so that over the years they are turn into huge and robust trees of high quality. Forests are managed and cared for to get lumber, in thinning and final harvest, which are processed in our Industrial Plant in Coelemu to obtain dry and laminated woods and plywood, all of high quality destined for the most demanding markets of Chile and the world.
Leon Laminated
The laminating process is production, using high adhesion adhesives, long parts and thick wood using short pieces rejected in the Remanufacturing Plant . With use from adhesives we obtained products of high resistance to be used in Beams, Pillars, Deck for pool and terrace floors, furniture parts and pieces, etc., all products of high added value.
Plywood Leon
The manufacture of Plywood begins with the entry of the best pieces of Pine, usually pruned, which are processed to obtain sheets very thin and precise. The process continues with the drying of the sheets, gluing, pressing and completion of products for furniture and construction.

Scholarships Students 2022
On April 4, in our company facilities and together with Mr. Antonio Viñuela Miranda, General Manager, the 2022 Study Scholarships were delivered to one of the children of our employees and one of our collaborators. This year it was awarded to Mr. Ignacio Cabrera, a student of Medical Career at the San Sebastian University and to Mr. Carlos Becerra, a student of Execution in Control and Industrial Instrumentation Engineering at the Federico Santa Maria University. Besides that and in the spirit of continuing to support the studies, Forestal Leon gives benefits to: Elizabeth Alarcón, third-year Medical Student, Gabriel Zapata, second-year Medical Technology Student, and our collaborators, Claudio Reyes, third-year Administration Engineering Student, and Claudio Saavedra, second-year Auditor Accountant Student.
