Harvest
In addition to producing and processing Timbers, Forestal Leon plants, and manages its own forests, to finally be harvested obtaining high quality pieces to be processed in the Industrial Plant of Coelemu.
Remanufacturing
The green woods produced in the Sawmill are then dried, brushed and packaged, seeking excellence in presentation and the preference of our customers.
Leon Export
In this area, our products are inspected, to prepare the loading of the containers, for different clients on the five continents.
Sawmill
The production process in the sawmill begins with the reception of pieces directly from the forest, which are debarked and classified to be placed into the sawmill lines, where they are processed according to their different characteristics in order to produce different lengths and measures timbers seeking the best performance of the used raw materials.
Plywood
The manufacture of Plywood begins with the entry into the chambers of cooking the best pieces of pine, usually pruned, which are first debarked and calibrated. Then they are debined obtaining thin and precise sheets, which are dried and classified. . Finally they go to the gluing machines, where the board is assembled later it is pressed, sanded and dimensioned, thus obtaining a Plywood for using in construction and furniture. All products of high quality and added value.
Energy
The Energy Division is in charge of generating steam electricity from all waste from forests and produced in the industry, which allows to supply the facilities and also provide energy to the surrounding communities.
Laminated beam
The laminating process is production, using high adhesion adhesives, long parts and thick wood using short pieces rejected in the Remanufacturing Plant . With use from adhesives we obtained products of high resistance to be used in Beams, Pillars, Deck for pool and terrace floors, furniture parts and pieces, etc., all products of high added value.
Nursery
The Forestal León NURSERY is the unit whose tasks and mission is to produce all the plants that the company requires for its forestry plantations and development. It is an area of high technological level, which has greenhouses, hatches, containers, fertigation and a modern installation system, with Swedich technology. The staff is committed to safety and the environment, and to the main gola of nurserying top quality plants.
